D&K Electric is enrolled in the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) STEP safety management system. This world-class program dramatically improves safety performance among participants by evaluating current level of safety performance, implementing specific best practices to transform the organization's safety culture, tracking safety performance and benchmarking it against peers.

 

Each year our safety processes and policies are measured on 24 key components and our  incident rates (TRIR and EMR) are documented. ABC companies are rated based on this data. D&K has consistently achieved a Platinum safety award (the second highest possible), meaning that we are at least 300% safer than the industry average.
